The reason why i picked this picture to draw and color. Is it was hard, and easy in a way. Also i like octopuses they are cute. So i was thinking because i am so motivated to get it finished and look how it will when completely done. It did take me awhile to do but i didn't want to rush and it turn out bad. When i first started it it was a bit rough. The more i got used to it the better i got.
I had a couple problems throughout the project. One problem i had was when the legs are curly and the pencil has to stay in the same direction unless it will look weird.Another one was blending the very top. The eraser part it was tricky. Because it is a big space i cant just go all the way a crossed so i had to do little by little and make sure i blend it very well. So you cant tell that its three different parts.
I am very happy with how it turned out to look like. I would actually buy something like this in a art show. Well obviously better then mine because i'm not a artist. I really do like how it was three different shades which it made it look like it was 3d or had a glaze on it.Just like a picture does when you print it off.
